LTE (4G) TDD Technology Overview is mainly designed for technical audience. It is suitable for technical professionals, RAN operators, Radio planning engineers, RAN optimization engineers, Research Institutes, defense sector, who currently are or will be involved in deploying, designing, configuring and/or implementing LTE TDD RAN.
Prerequisites: Those wishing to take this course should have a first exposure to LTE technology, with prior good reference to LTE Physical layer (Air Interface).
This LTE(4G) training course introduces the audience into LTE TDD technology. It exploits the topic from physical layer (air interface) to TDD resource allocation, giving all available details for LTE TDD scheduler, frequency-time resource allocation, TDD formats and interference, MIMO solution and LTE-A to LTE-Apro TDD data transmission enhancements. It emphasizes the LTE-TDD planning and optimization approach, explaining TDD available frequencies, all TDD overhead details and throughput reduction factors as well as the TDD C-Band deployment and coverage considerations. Finally the course includes a detailed description of all LTE TDD parameters with full signaling message analysis, supported by log-file analysis. The course is purely theoretical, however it is supported by proper excel file calculator exercises for better understanding of the planning/dimensioning topic.
